The surface run-off water was found draining out from the recharge area to the low lying areas in Village Dantla located in Sikar District of Rajasthan. With a view to ensure that every drop of water was conserved, the NGO - Social Action for Rural Advancement (SARA), with the support of Anandana – has successfully implemented the project

• drainage line treatment of 3 major drainage channels feeding the pond in existence.
• renovation of pond

• Created a storage potential of over 500 million liters
• Revitalization of 75 hand pumps and 300 wells of 6 villages.
• Over 15000 villagers benefitted
